How do we make a referral?
A: Click the "Make a referral" button on this page and complete we will contact you within 24 hours to begin pre-release planning.

How far in advance do you need a referral?
A: We ask for a minimum of 5 working days before the release date to coordinate effectively. However, we understand that release dates change - contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate urgent referrals.

What areas do you cover?
A: We currently operate in London (Feltham YOI and surrounding boroughs ) and Birmingham / West Midlands. We are expanding - contact us to discus coverage outside these areas.

What age range do you support?
A: Our service is designed for young people aged 16-24. For young people aged 16-17, we work alongside local authority children's services to ensure all safeguarding obligations are met.

Is your team DBS checked?
A: Yes. All team members hold an enhanced DBS check registered on the DBS Update Service. We also carry full public liability and professional indemnity insurance..

What happens if the young person refuses to engage on release day?
A: Our team is trained to work with reluctant and anxious young people using trauma - informed, non -engagement, and escalation - available on request.

Can we refer young people who are being released to Birmingham from London prisons, or vice versa?
A: Yes. We can coordinate cross-regional releases. Contact us directly to discuss logistics and we will confirm coverage.

What does the service cost?
A: We work with a range of funding models, spot purchase, block contract, grant - funded referrals. and partnership agreements. Contact us to discuss the right arrangement for your organisation.

Are you registered and compliant?
A: Yes. Impact Transition Services CIC is registered at Companies House. We hold a written organisational safeguarding policy, a named Designated Safeguarding Lead, and comply with GDPR and ICO regulation requirements.
